Now that the Young Wild Things tour has rolled to a stop, and Pete has said they won't be back on the road for "a long time," this is your chance to predict THE FUTURE OF FALL OUT BOY!
I voted for longevity. Don't know about U2 success. lol A lot of people are saying they are done. I think they are a little paranoid. Face it, these guys have been non stop working for the last 6 years. I think once they have a break they will come back better than ever. I do think the teenies will fade (thank god!). And I hope they will be able to play smaller venues. That's just my opinion. Not worth much. haha
I hate to say this, because I love FOB more than I have ever loved any band before in my life, but I had to go with the break up option. As much as it breaks my heart, I really think we have seen the last of Fall Out Boy.Not to say that they won't all be successful in their own solo projects, but I really do not expect a new album anytime soon. At least we have a ton of amazing songs and videos by them to last us awhile.

For some reason, I think that they just might break up, but they are all going to branch off and do their own thing. Pete will do Clandestine/Decaydance stuff directly. Patrick will go into solo work. Joe will get married and live life as a normal man. Andy will join another band and rock out.
Then, years from now, we will see them as they get back together for a final tour.
U2 is my answer!! I like FOB and, I don't think they'll lose hard core fan's. But then they'll never break up well not any time soon I don't think there just now starting to hit it big ya know? to young to soon LOL!!!

I voted for longevity because one they are not like Nsync or Backstreet Boys that were fed their lyrics. Plus at least be thankful they are not Britney Spears who is more screwed up than someone living in a trailer home.
I don't think well be seeing the guy's for a while, but it will give them time to pursue other projects, and then when they are good and ready they will get back in the studio. For example, look at Linkin Park they took a 2 year hiatus before releasing Minute to Midnight to pursue other solo project. Plus with the extra studio song's they re-released on the deluxe version of Infinity High I think it's a good indication that the next album will be pulling a tad bit from the Teen pop, and focus more on where they are as an artist and how much they have grown. As FOB stated in the take the break is over, People do change so let us change.
Plugging my ears as well! I thnk that they are gonna take a little break and pursue a few solo projects but when they are good and ready, be back in the studio! I hope that the end isn't near, cause if it is, I think I will die...but I defintly know that a nice long much needed break is coming..BUT LONG LIVE LONGEVITY!
I know i'm really being nosy here but no one in the world is a damn freak okay if they're a freak what does that make you a idiot or a nice person????? I know it isnt the nice person....I hate Paramore so much but i dont open there news on buzznet and say nasty things about them.
People have a flair for the dramatic, and they are going to get their fix one way or another. It's sad that it has to be through the internet and also about Fall Out Boy.

Even if FOB were to quit- They've all got outside projects already. Pete's got Clandestine, friendsorenemies, and DecayDance. He'd be fine. Patrick is also working in the music biz. They'd all be fine w/o touring. Would it suck for us? Yea, but I'm content. I got to see them and meet Pete. My little world is fine. LOL :P
